Mr. Joseph Varghese is an experienced accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MG University, Kerala, and certifications in International Financial Accounting and Computerized Financial Accounting. His strong foundation in financial principles and accounting practices, combined with over six years of experience across India, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, has equipped him with expertise in financial and accounting software like Tally Prime, ERP 9, Smacc, QuickBooks, and Dynamics 365. He is proficient in financial reporting, payroll management, and benefits administration, handling tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, VAT and GST filing, TDS filing, account reconciliations, cash flow management, and preparing budgets and audit schedules.
In his current role, Mr. Varghese is responsible for posting and processing journal entries, coordinating month-end procedures, and preparing key financial statements. He manages accounts receivable and payable, develops relationships with suppliers, oversees petty cash management, and prepares financial reports to support management decision-making. His duties also include bank statement reconciliation, VAT filing, payroll processing via WPS, and preparing work papers for audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial operations.
